Trip to Architectural Salvage

If you're from here in Wichita you
MUST
go check out Architectural Salvage on North St. Francis.

I went there earlier in the summer and saw of all sorts of goodies. It's a great place to go if you're remodeling a house and trying to stay true to a certain period, or if you just want to browse through a.lot.of.odds and ends.

Here's a sampling...

Sun beam clock with Roman numerals

Lamps-a-million

everyone's all about the birdcages these days

Just needs a little sprucing up, right?

I loved these little benches-- they had several scattered throughout the store.
I think one would be a great statement piece in an entryway.

They even have carpets!...

...and an antique library card catalog
