One Rug, 3 Ways

A few days ago I was wading through Overstock.com when I chanced upon this rug:

It's definitely the most unusual rug I've come across lately. Pretty cool colors and patterns, though, right? I thought it would be fun to put together 3 different looks, all centered around this rug.

I think the clean, feminine look of #2 (Luxe Loft) is my favorite. Which one is your favorite? Is this a rug you could picture decorating with?

I'm so glad you post on a Monday early enough to comfort me when I finally break down and can't do any more mundane tasks. I like #2 the best too, even though I am usually drawn to the yellows. I think the warm colors compared to the cold drizzle outside might have something to do with it. :)

I do like the rug! Probably my favorite is #2. Though I could see mixing aspects of #1 and #2 together for a pleasing result. :)

I like #2.

.....

Can you interior decorate my blog please? It needs a major revamp!!! Or Vamp, since it's brand new...

Or #3, because I love yellow!

I love 3 but think that 2 is also fabulo and more Kelby-friendly. In my dream home there would be just one room where I could have funky yellow couches and bright pink (or some other daring, fun color) conversation chairs where Kelby wouldn't mind never going. He's just too normal! :)

Fun post, Mary!

Thanks for your comments on my blog, especially because it led me to yours! I love the three boards you created, especially #2. Loving the gold accents!
