Did you know there was a wind advisory today?! Yes, WIND advisory! I felt like Dorothy earlier today, about to get swept up in a tornado. High time to retire to a safe part of the house--you know, internal closet or something.

I agree that is one cosy, lovely nook! Makes me look around my home to see if I could recreate it. Hmm, the man doesn't really need to store his surfboards in that spot under the stairs, right ?

We have a wind advisory here too...I literally woke up to what I thought was our house being lifted away :)

What a great use of space! I love how the stained horizontal planks on the bottom of the stairs play off of the painted vertical plank paneling on the walls.
